I'm Chris

Ever since I was 16, I have been fascinated by the world of start-ups and making a positive impact in the world by solvings people's problems through products.

After graduating from highschool, I decided to move to Maastricht for a study at Maastricht University, where I enjoyed 3 years of top class education and a lot of personal development. For my last semester of university I moved to Milan, where I did an exchange semester at Universitá Bocconi and started an internship at ProntoPro, working in SEO.

After the end of the semester I received an offer from ProntoPro to continue with the company, which I gladly accepted. I was trusted with a team of up to 12 interns from the DACH regions, France, Italy and Spain. Altogether we worked on building scalable processes for linkbuilding. I learned a lot about management, process design and taught myself to code. Ultimately, I became proficient enough to build major projects in Python and JavaScript myself and also had the opportunity to work on major efforts to scale and automate our collaboration with freelancers through a custom built platform.

In July 2020, I then decided to change company after recieving an offer from Enpal to join their quest to fight climate change through green energy products that are simply better in every regard than their brown counter parts. Thus, I joined Enpal in August 2020 as Growth Product Manager, where I worked on building out our tech stack neccesary for fueling Enpal's impressive growth. Being one of the first product managers was a great experience and challenge to gain deeper understanding of product processes and tech at scale.

In August 2021, I met Julian Willner over dinner who was building Purpose at the time and suggested to advise. After a series of meetings, we decided that I would join as Co-Founder and CPO, which I did in January 2022. Now we're building Purpose to help people have more fulfilling careers.
